Nová Polianka is a small suburb that forms part of the town of Vysoké Tatry, located in the Poprad District of the Prešov Region, Slovakia. The settlement sits at an elevation of 1060 metres above sea level, at the southern foothills of the High Tatras, near the outlets of the Batizovská and Stos valleys. The peaks of Gerlachovský štít and Končistá rise above Nová Polianka.

The history of Nová Polianka began after World War II. The settlement was designed in 1946 by Bratislava architect Milan Harminec. The foundation stone for the first building was laid in 1952, and in 1956 a military sanatorium was opened, becoming the basis for the community’s development.

Nová Polianka is known for its picturesque location amid the nature of the High Tatras. The area features a post office, a forester’s house, and the sanatorium. There is also a unique outdoor heated swimming pool within the sanatorium grounds (not open to the public). The settlement is located near the Batizovský stream and sits along the popular Road of Freedom.
