Serednya is a 1,639-meter peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians, which is located within the Gorgan mountain range. The mountain is located southeast of the village of Osmoloda and west of the village of Stara Huta on the border of two districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region - Bohorodchany and Rozhnyativ.

The peak of Serednya Mountain is unforested, has a conical shape, and the slopes are quite steep. The foothills are covered with old-growth forests, while open areas are covered with alpine pine, juniper, crooked woods, and rocky scree.

Serednya, together with several neighboring peaks, forms a small ridge called Zaplata, which stretches several kilometers from Serednya Mountain in a north-northeast direction.

To the southwest of Serednya is the massive Igrovyshche ridge, which is home to two popular mountain peaks in Horhany - Mount Igrovets and Mount Vysoka. By the way, between Vysoka and Serednya there is the Serednya meadow, where tourists often arrange a place to spend the night.

The nearest settlements are the village of Osmoloda and the village of Stara Huta in the Rozhniativ and Bohorodchany districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region, respectively.
