Route Zhenets tract (Mykulychyn village), via Khomiakiv polonyna and Mount Syniak to Zhenets tract. Warning! This route is unmarked (it may be partially marked)! Unmarked routes are not equipped with: information boards; signposts; auxiliary signs (water, campsite, etc.). The decision to take the route is entirely your own responsibility! Trail length 13601m. Lowest point - 738m., highest point - 1659m. Total elevation gain 1011m. Along the route you will see: Narinetskyi waterfall, Mykulychyn, Polonyna Khomyakov, Mount Khomiak, Mount Sinyak.
What to see along the route:
Narinetskyi Waterfall is a waterfall in the Ukrainian Carpathians, on the Noretskyi Stream (a left tributary of the Zhenets River). It is located on the border of the villages of Mykulychyn and Tatariv, which are subordinated to the Yaremche City Council. The total height of the waterfall is about 10 meters. The waterfall was formed in the place where the stream crosses a thick sandstone layer. Not far (1800 meters) from Narinetskyi waterfall is the Zhenetskyi Huk waterfall.

A large sloping meadow on the northern slopes of the Sinyaka-Homiak ridge. From here, there are trails to the valley of the Zhenets stream (a long straight cut to the north), ascent to Mount Hamster (southwest), a trail along the ridge through the zherep to the top of Synyak (southeast), traverse of the top of Hamster to the Baranja meadow and the spring (east), and then a serpentine path to the valley of the Prutets Yablunytskyi.

Khomyak is a 1542-meter-high peak of the Gorgan mountain range. Rumor has it that the mountain was named so because its shape resembles the back of a hamster. Perhaps those with a well-developed imagination can easily see this resemblance...

Mount Sinyak, 1665 meters high, is one of the peaks of the Gorgan massif of the Ukrainian Carpathians, located in the Nadvirna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is part of the Carpathian National Nature Park.
