Mount Eared Stone
The Eared Stone is one of the most atmospheric peaks in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Its slope is covered with huge stone sculptures. This place has been sacred to our ancestors for many centuries. And even now, everyone who passes by cannot contain their emotions.
Mount Eared Stone impresses tourists with intricate forms of stone statues. There are no limits to human imagination - everyone sees what his imagination tells him: someone's ear or nose, a horn, and even a house. People call the rock sculptures on the slopes of the mountain Eared Stone "churches". But what everyone agrees on is that the top of the mountain offers truly magical landscapes of the ancient Carpathians.
The mountain is part of the Chornohora massif, has a height of 1864 meters, and is located within the Carpathian National Nature Park. It is one of the most popular tourist routes. The beginning of the ascent is the village of Dzembronia, then a path through picturesque fields and a fabulously beautiful coniferous forest overgrown with ferns and moss. On the way to the top, you will see the Dzembronia waterfalls of spectacular beauty, the height of the highest cascade is about 10 meters. From the top of Mount Vuhaty Kamen, a breathtaking view of the valleys and the Montenegrin ridge opens up. The clean mountain air and ancient Carpathian forests give positive emotions and inspiration for new travels.
