Mount Smotrych (also known as Smotrets) is an 1898-meter peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is located in the Carpathian National Nature Park on the Chornohora mountain range in the Verkhovyna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Smotrych is located at a distance of 1.5 km from the main ridge of Chornohora (in the southeastern part of the massif) and is connected to it by a rather gentle saddle.

In the northern, eastern, and southern directions, the slopes of Mount Smotrych are very steep and rocky, and in some places steep. The top of the mountain is completely covered with stone placers.

Approximately 500 meters northwest of Smotrych, on one of the spurs, there is the Eared Stone. Nearby there are rocks of strange shapes, which are popularly called "churches".

To the southwest of Mount Smotrych there is a huge hollow where the Pohorilets River originates. Immediately behind the basin rises the massive mountain of Pip Ivan Chornohirskyi with its characteristic hallmark on the top - the high-mountain observatory "White Elephant".

To the west of Smotrych is Mount Dzembronia, to the northwest is Mount Menchul, to the southeast are Mounts Velyki and Mali Staiky, to the north are the Dzembronia Waterfalls, and to the northeast is the village of Dzembronia, which is actually the closest settlement to the mountain.
