Chernytsia (Chernykovsky) waterfall, Chernyk
ChernytsiaWaterfall is a secluded and picturesque place in Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is located 5 kilometers from the Nadvirna - Bystrytsia highway in the village of Chernyk. The waterfall is part of the pure mountain river Chernyk. Not far from the old wooden bridge near the village of Chernyk there is a descent that leads directly to the meadow, and from there along the path to the waterfall. The roads and paths are covered with soil, so it is convenient and easy to get to this quiet place both by car and on foot.
The waterfall is a two-stage natural structure. Both the upper part of the waterfall and the lower part can be accessed by a path and admire the beautiful view. The total height of the waterfall is quite small - about 8 meters. The first part of the stream falls from a height of 2.5-3 meters, after which it moves along a small wedge-shaped chute, from where it falls to the lower tier from a height of 4.5-5 meters.
This waterfall is suitable for all connoisseurs of natural beauty and seclusion, as well as for those who like to plunge into the cool water of mountain rivers.
