MAVKA water park, Bukovel

MAVKA water park is Bukovel's largest indoor water park and one of the most modern in Ukraine. It opened in early 2025 in the Shchyvky area, near Lake Molodosti and the Ferris wheel, and operates all year regardless of the weather. If you are looking for a water park in the Carpathians with slides, a wave pool and a spa for adults, this is it. The zones have fairy-tale names inspired by Mavka, the forest spirit of Ukrainian legends: «Magic Forest», «Fairy Lagoon», «Forest SPA» and «Spring of Life».

What the water park offers

The space is divided into four zones, and different tickets open different ones:

• Magic Forest — the slide zone with six slides, from gentler rides to very fast ones, including «Bursting River» and «Fern»;
• Fairy Lagoon — the «Melody of Waves» wave pool, the «Mystic Waters» adventure pool, the «Enchanted Lake» relaxation pool with indoor and outdoor parts, a terrace, a smoke sauna and an infrared lamp zone;
• Forest SPA — saunas and relaxation areas for adults;
• Spring of Life — an open-air infinity pool overlooking the forest, the mountains and the Ferris wheel.

In summer the outdoor terrace pools let you sunbathe with Carpathian views, and in winter swimming in warm water with snow all around is especially pleasant.

For children and families

The youngest guests have their own «Kids' Fun» zone with a children's pool, plus craft workshops — both included in the standard ticket. Children shorter than 110 cm enter free, and a reduced children's rate applies to kids under 140 cm. Groups of three or more can use the «Family & Friends» rate at a special price; if there are children under 18 in the group, at least one adult must be present. A towel and changing rooms are included, so you only need swimwear and flip-flops.

Ticket prices

As of October 2026 the official website lists these prices for the «Aquapark» ticket (slides, wave pool, kids' zone, smoke sauna):

• 4 hours (+30 min to change): adults and children from 140 cm UAH 1,700, children under 140 cm UAH 1,200;
• full day: UAH 2,200 and UAH 1,600 respectively;
• evening ticket 20:00–22:00 (entry from 19:30): UAH 1,000 and UAH 700;
• Aquapark + SPA for 4 hours — from UAH 2,700; SPA only for 4 hours — from UAH 1,700.

The reduced rate (same as the child rate) applies to certified combat veterans and people with Group I–II disabilities. Tickets are sold online on the water park's website and at the ticket desk; access to the SPA or slide zone can be added as an extra option. How to get there

Bukovel is about 110 km by car from Ivano-Frankivsk via Nadvirna, Yaremche, Mykulychyn and Tatariv. There are two villages called Polianytsia in the oblast, so double-check the route in your navigator. The nearest railway station is Tatariv-Bukovel (about 15 km), with transfers to the resort. You can leave the car at the car park by the Ferris wheel and walk a few minutes along the road by Lake Molodosti. The free Bukovel Bus also runs around the resort: take the red route «A–B» to the «Aquapark Mavka» stop.
