Polonyna Lazok
The Ukrainian Carpathians are one of the most beautiful places in our country. The mountains are beautiful at any time of the year: in winter, people come here to ski or snowboard, and in summer, tourists come here with large backpacks and tents to conquer the mountain peaks. One of these wonderful places is the Lazok meadow.
Information about the meadow:
The Lazok meadow near the city of Yaremche is quite popular among tourists. Many hiking trails start from here, and you can also spend the night here if the hike is too long. Locals graze their cattle here. The Lazok meadow stretches between two mountains - Arshechna and Synyachka. A lot of medicinal herbs grow here, so in late spring and summer they are collected. By the way, on the way to Mount Sinyachka you will see more than one oil rig, because there is a large oil field in these places. The towers are not behind a huge fence with barbed wire, so you can get closer, look at them and take a picture.
Getting there:
Yaremche can be easily reached from Ivano-Frankivsk - buses depart every hour from the bus station on Pryvokzalna Square.
