Guest House "Sikityra" Sheshory

The guest house "Sikityra" is located in the village of Sheshory, less than a minute's walk from the forest and a 2-minute walk from the Huk waterfall. Guests have access to a sauna, an outdoor pool, and a shared fully equipped kitchen. Other amenities include table tennis, billiards, and a barbecue area.

The rooms are decorated in a country style and feature an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a fireplace. Guests can choose from three different rooms, each with a unique and exclusive interior and artistic design. Accommodation with pets is possible upon prior request, with no additional charge.

• On the first floor is the artistically designed "Fireplace" room, featuring a carved wooden ceiling, walls decorated with cork oak, and large oak windows offering a unique panorama of the Carpathian beauty. The room is adorned with two oak tables inlaid with Hutsul carvings, high beech armchairs, and a natural working fireplace made of mountain split stone, of three different types. The back wall is decorated with natural split Transcarpathian stone and two wrought-iron sconces. Amenities in the "Fireplace" room include two double beds (1950x1600 mm), a dresser, a TV stand, a TV, a table, 4 chairs, a working fireplace, a shower cabin, a sink, a toilet, and a mirror.
• On the second floor, there are two isolated rooms with separate bathrooms. One room "Cherry" is decorated with natural wooden paneling made of cherry, two massive oak semi-double beds, and has access to a loggia (4x2 meters) with a wonderful panorama of the mountain village of Sheshory and the Carpathian ridges, richly green with coniferous-beech forests. Amenities in the "Cherry" room include two double beds (1950x1600 mm), a wardrobe, a 4x2m loggia, a TV, a table with two chairs, a shower cabin, a sink, a toilet, and a mirror.
• The third room "Spruce (Coniferous)" is decorated with natural light coniferous wooden paneling, two oak beds: a double and a semi-double. The room offers a wonderful landscape with a panoramic view from the loggia (6x2 meters) and a dormer window. Amenities in the "Spruce (Coniferous)" room include two double beds (1950x1600 mm), a wardrobe, a 4x2m loggia, a TV, a table with two chairs, a shower cabin, a sink, a toilet, and a mirror.
• The lower room for 2 guests with a large double bed. Amenities in the "Lower" room include a double bed (1950x1600 mm), a wardrobe, a TV stand, a TV, a table, 4 chairs, a loggia (6x2) m, a table with 2 chairs, a Hutsul bed (bambetnia), a shower cabin, a sink, a toilet, and a mirror.
• The upper room for 3 guests with a large double bed and a single bed. Amenities in the "Upper" room include a double bed (1950x1600 mm), a single bed (1950x900 mm), a wardrobe and TV stand, a TV, a table, 4 chairs, a summer veranda (6x4) m on the 1st floor, a table with 4 chairs, a Hutsul bed (bambetnia), a shower cabin, a sink, a toilet, and a mirror.
• ATTENTION! The price for one night's stay includes: breakfast, sauna, pool, tennis, gazebo, barbecue, parking, free internet.
• The cost of the SAUNA is 200 UAH/hour for up to 4 people. Fans of a real linden sauna can refresh themselves in the cool pool (3.5*2.5 meters), play billiards, and enjoy delicious fragrant shashlik in the forest gazebo on a small steep bank of the mountain stream just 10 meters from the house.

Nearby the guest house in the forest (20 meters away) is the famous forest glade "glade of love," where love seekers can fully enjoy nature. In the valley (100-150 meters away) flows the swift river Pistin, which, shimmering with silvery waterfalls, leaves pleasant memories and enjoyment for visitors.

The nearest railway station in Kolomyia is located 32 km from the hotel, and the international airport in Chernivtsi is 95 km away. The ideal new asphalt road from Kolomyia to Sheshory.

In the summer, the swift streams of the mountain river Pistin and its famous waterfalls provide a refreshing coolness, freshness, and enjoyment to everyone willing to swim in the amazingly clear and ecologically clean water. In winter, a popular ski slope with a ski lift is located 5 km from the guest house.

ATTENTION! In the summer, it is possible to settle and stay on the roofs and in the internal partitions of the walls of Sonka-polchok, one of the types of forest rodents similar to small squirrels! They are not aggressive, do not bite, do not attack, but remind you of their presence at night! They can climb trees and walls without any problems. They nest in tree hollows, bird nests, and also under the roofs of houses. They sleep all day and are active at night. Winter hibernation usually lasts from late September to early May. They are usually not social animals, although small groups of closely related adults have sometimes been observed. In autumn, they feed on acorns, nuts, chestnuts, and seeds rich in oils and fats. In the summer months, they consume more fruits and mushrooms.

The best way to get to Sheshory is by train or car.
From Kyiv, it is best to buy tickets for the former train No. 43/44 on the route "Kyiv - Ivano-Frankivsk," which departs approximately at 19:15, but (!!!) requires mandatory verification of the departure time and train number due to constant changes in departure times and train numbers by the railway administration. The train arrives in Ivano-Frankivsk around 06:00 - 07:00 in the morning (depending on the seasonal schedule). Directly at the station square, there is a bus station where you can buy a ticket to the bus station in Kolomyia or directly to Kosiv in 3-5 minutes.
It is more convenient to buy tickets to the AС Kolomyia, with a travel time of about 60 minutes, or a minibus taxi will be offered to you by drivers who provide their services directly on the sidewalk, near the exit from the station gate.
At 9:00 in the morning, you can take a bus from the Kolomyia bus station to Sheshory, with a ticket price of 10-12 UAH. The travel time is about 45-50 minutes.
Get off near the village council, ask the driver for directions to the homestead "Sikityra."

If you are traveling by car, choose the route yourself, depending on the departure city, direction, and road surface conditions to the very center of the village, to the village council, near 100 m. restaurant "Arkan," then to the homestead "Sikityra" just 150 m. It is advisable to stock up on excess fuel (10 l.) in Kolomyia or another city, as there is no quality fuel in Sheshory. The nearest gas station with quality fuel is in the village of Pistin - 5 km, in the city of Kosiv - 12 km, or in the city of Kolomyia - 27 km (WOK, OKKO, LUKOIL).

There are NO ATMs in Sheshory, so it is advisable to have UAH in advance.
There is also NO place to exchange currency in Sheshory!!!

In Sheshory, there are at least two quite good grocery stores with a normal assortment of goods and alcohol, a household goods store, and a household department. A sufficient selection of women's hygiene and care products.

In Sheshory, there is a pharmacy kiosk (point) with an unstable working schedule and insufficient assortment of medicines.
