Mount Sopka (Stizhky, Zinyakov top).

Stizhki (620 meters) offers a panoramic view of the city of Kosiv. The mountain is covered with forests - beech, spruce, fir, and in the more holy places - sycamore. Due to deforestation and its valuable species, sycamore has become rare in other places. In the open eastern glades you can find porcini mushrooms, boletus, and aspen.

The mountain is in its golden autumn in October, when deciduous trees are covered with the colors of gold and purple. Near Sopka, about 550 meters above sea level, there is a hydrogen sulfide spring in a rather gloomy place on the mountain slope. The water has healing properties, and the surrounding area of 5 hectares is a valuable natural formation. The water flow reaches up to 11 liters per hour. In 1996, the water was blessed by the late priest Dmytro Blyzniuk. It was officially placed under state protection. On the initiative of children and adults from the villages of the Sniatyn district, a beautiful chapel (1 m) made of stainless metal (skillful hands of master Yuriy Beisyuk) was built over the spring. Several years ago, employees of the Hutsulshchyna National Park marked the trail to the spring, but the route has not been fully developed. The main stops along the trail are planned, where benches will be installed.
