Liptovská Teplička is a village in the Poprad District of the Prešov Region, Slovakia, situated on the northern slopes of the Low Tatras in the upper basin of the Čierny Váh river. The village lies at an elevation of about 900 metres, surrounded by scenic mountain landscapes and traversed by the Ždiarsky stream.

The first written mention of Liptovská Teplička dates back to 1634. The name comes from "Teplica", a small creek that does not freeze even in the coldest winters. After World War II, a new road connected the village to Poprad, and since 1960 it has been part of the Poprad District in the Prešov Region.

Liptovská Teplička is known for its unique "hobbit-style" potato cellars, reminiscent of the Shire from The Lord of the Rings, with around 400 cellars in the village. A baroque Roman Catholic church from 1759 stands in the village. The local dialect is a transitional Slovak–Czadek variety, reflecting the area's cultural diversity.

Visitors can explore numerous hiking trails starting from Liptovská Teplička, such as "Škutnastá polana – Štrba, station", "Pohorelá, station – Andrejcova Hut", "Vypad – Andrejcova Hut", "Sedlo Priehyba – Dolina Ipoltica, mouth", "Gieravy – Smrečinské saddle" and "Vernár, stop – Martaluzka". For overnight stays in the mountains, Andrejcova Hut is available.
