Urych is a village in the Skole district of the Lviv region of Ukraine. Near the village there is the ancient Russian rock defense complex Tustan, which became the basis for the creation of the Tustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
The village was founded in 1369 and is located south of the famous Skhidnytsia resort. The village is home to the Urychanka stream of the same name.
In 1970, the residents of Urych took part in the filming of the feature film "The Rising Hawk".
In Urych village there is a museum of the history of the fortress city Tustan, which is open every day (except Monday and Tuesday), and a local church - an architectural monument of the XIX century.
The nearest railway station is Verkhnye Syniovydne.
Since 2006, Urych has been the venue for the annual Tu Stan festival of Old Russian and medieval culture. The peculiarity of the event is its focus on a certain period of the past - the time of the existence of the rock city of the Tustan fortress, IX-XVI centuries.
