Museum of Tustan History, Urych

The TustanHistory Museum is part of the Tustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve. It was established in 1997 to preserve and exhibit archaeological finds discovered on the territory of the local fortress.

The museum's pride is the models "Tustan - the fifth construction period" and "Suspended gates of the fortress", which were made after the creation of a digital three-dimensional model of the fortress city of Tustan.
Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the artist and archaeologist Mykhailo Rozhko. It was under his leadership that the research of the fortress began in 1971, and thanks to his works we can imagine how the Russian stronghold looked like.

The reconstruction of the hrydnytsia, the thirteenth-century room of the governor, is worthy of note. The museum has a souvenir shop where you can buy original products of Ukrainian masters as a souvenir and get tourist information about the region.

Opening hours:
10:00-18:00 (April-October)
9:30-17:00 (November-March)
