Purul (translated from Romanian as "pure") is a 1616-meter peak in the Ukrainian Carpathians, which is located in the Marmarosh mountain range within the Chivchyn Mountains. The mountain is located southeast of the village of Burkut, in the southern part of the Verkhovyna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Purul is a massive mountain located on the main Chyvchyn ridge. The top itself is not forested, covered with alpine and subalpine vegetation. The slopes are relatively gentle, except for the southern and western ones.

To the southeast of Mount Purul is Mount Koman, and to the north is Mount Pirie.

The state border between Ukraine and Romania passes through the very top of Purul from north to southeast.

The nearest settlement is the village of Burkut (Verkhovyna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region).
