The Yavorivsky Huk waterfall is one of the highest in Kosiv region (6 meters), cascading (divided into three main parts). The waterfall is multi-stage, the height of the ledges is 2-3 meters, the total length is 30 meters.
The waterfall (or rather a cascade of waterfalls) "Yavorivska Niagara" (also called "Sokilski waterfalls") is located at the foot of the Sokilskyi Ridge on the bed of the Bedzvinnii Stream (right tributary of the Rybnytsia River) between the Zapidok (Village 1) and Prochert (Shyrokyi) tracts.
The water flows down in separate small channels and streams. "During high water, Yavoriv Niagara is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Pokutsko-Bukovyna Carpathians. During intense rains, this waterfall fully justifies its name - the roar is heartbreaking.
It is a geological natural monument of local importance.
There are many picturesque waterfalls in the Rybnytsia River basin: Kosivskyi Huk on Rybnytsia, Huk on Bezulka, Huk on the River in Snidavets, Yavorivskyi Huk on Stoyanove, and Yavorivska Niagara on Bedzvinnii.
It is very easy to get to this large and interesting waterfall from Kosiv. You need to drive 15 kilometers towards Verkhovyna along the highway, and in the center of the village of Yavoriv, behind the church, turn left. This dirt road runs through the village to the Sokilskyi Ridge. However, we need to drive along the forest road from the church for only 2-3 km to a wooden gazebo at the crossroads, which will serve as a landmark.
Behind the gazebo, there is a path down to the right past a village house, and then you need to turn right again and walk another hundred meters down the river bank. On your left, you will hear something making noise and rumbling - this is the Yavorivsky Huk. Opposite the waterfall, on the river bank, there are two willows that have grown together with spruce trees into a unique work of nature.
