Nyzhnii Yalivets is one of the most remote corners of the Carpathians. It seems that nature here has remained the same as it was hundreds of years ago. The absence of civilization and poor road conditions have preserved this region from deforestation and destruction and generally protected it from the anthropogenic factor.
In Nyzhnyi Yalovets, the Yalovychora river flows into the White Cheremosh. To the east of the village center, within a radius of 1 kilometer, there is one of the most picturesque lakes in the Carpathians - Bukovynske Oko , which is located 1 km east of the center of Nyzhniy Yalovets village at the foot of Mount Tvorylets, in the Yalovychora Mountains. It lies at an altitude of 1128 meters above sea level. It is 100 meters long and about 70 meters wide. The area of the water mirror reaches almost a hectare. It was formed, like the famous Synevyr, due to the displacement of clay rocks about 300 thousand years ago. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this "eye" is bottomless, because no one knows its true depth. An original hunting lodge can also be found nearby.
Traditional folk crafts: wood carving, artistic embroidery, weaving.
