Goloshina
The village of Holoshyna was founded back in 1932 and is home to 415 people. It is a border village on the border with Romania (57 km on the way to the district center). The main activities are forestry, animal husbandry, and gathering (mushrooms, raspberries, blueberries, medicinal herbs, etc.). Hutsul customs are preserved in the village, and the remoteness, inaccessibility and high altitude have a great impact on the way of life. The village is surrounded by coniferous virgin forests, which are home to rare wild animals.
