Skole district is a district of Ukraine in the southwest of Lviv region. The district and administrative center is the city of district significance Skole. The district is rich in tourist locations (settlements): Slavske, Nyzhnya Rozhanka, Volosyanka, Tukholka, Hrebeniv, Plavia, Oryavchyk, Dubyna, Tukhlya, Myta, Oryv, Korostiv, Nyzhnye Syniovydne, Verkhnye Syniovydne, Tysovets, Urych, Yalynkuvate, Kozova, Lybokhora, Kamianka, Klymets, Korchyn, Mezhybrody, Nahirne, Oriava, Pidhorodtsi (Tustan), Pohar, Rykiv, Sukhyi Potik, Khitar, Yamelnytsia.

The district was formed in January 1940. The highest point of the district is Mount Parashka (1268 m). The Opir and Stryi rivers flow through the district. The district borders on Drohobych, Stryi and Turka districts of Lviv region, Dolyna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region, Volovets and Mizhhiria districts of Zakarpattia region.

The Skole district is home to the Skole Beskydy National Nature Park, which is located within the Skole Beskydy massif. The highest point of the district is Mount Parashka (1268 m). The Opir and Stryi rivers flow through the district. Near the village of Korchyn on the Velyka Rika River there is the Gurkalo waterfall.

Skole district was formed in January 1940. In 1959, it was joined by the Slavske district. In 1963, in connection with the formation of territorial electoral administrations, Skole district was liquidated and its territory was included in Stryi district. On December 8, 1966, the district was restored again.

The oldest settlements of the district are Verkhnye Syniovydne (first written mention in 1240) and Skole (first written mention in 1397, which according to legend was founded in 1015 after the battle in the Opir river valley between the sons of Prince Volodymyr the Great: Svyatopolk and Sviatoslav). in the area there are remains of the fortress "Tustan" - XI-XIV centuries.

There are ski centers in the district: Tysovets sports complex in Skole and Slavske. Skole and Slavske, Volosyanka, Plavia villages.

River routes for water tourism are gaining popularity in spring, summer and fall. In April, the annual water tourism competitions are held on the Opir River. Also, due to the mountainous nature of the Opir (river) and Stryi (river) rivers, rafting is organized.
