Embroidery is undoubtedly one of the most famous and widespread forms of folk art in Ukraine. It is this type of folk art that is a classic and, therefore, a living crystal clear source that not only gives us all the riches of the healthy creative forces of the Ukrainian people, but also helps us to comprehend all the heights of their artistic talent.
Ukrainian folk embroideries have both common features inherent in all regions of Ukraine and local differences that are logically justified by historical, social, and geographical factors. TheVyshyvanka Museum, located in the village of Zelene, Verkhovyna district, introduces us to the local peculiarities of Hutsul embroidery art - the archaic features of folk ornamentation that have been preserved to this day.

The Hutsul Embroidery Museum in the village of Zelene creates this atmosphere to a large extent.

The museum is located in the village of Zelene, Verkhovyna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The village is small, so it's hard to get lost in it. To get to the village, you need to turn off the P24 highway in the village of Iltsi, then drive through the village of Topilche and then Zelene.
