Busk

Busk is a city in the Lviv region, located about 50 km from Lviv and belonging to the Zolochiv district. The population of the city is about 10 thousand people.

• TheChurch of St. Stanislaus is a functioning parish church in Busk of the Lviv Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine. It was built in 1772-1779 in the Baroque style, modeled after the church in the village of Godovytsia, Pustomyty district, Lviv region, and was designed by architect Bernard Meretyn.
• The Churchof St. Nicholas in Busk, which appeared shortly before the revolution, was built by the city's Orthodox community at their own expense between 1914 and 1938 by one of the most famous architects of the early twentieth century, Yevhen Nahirny, and is located near the city's ancient marketplace. For a long time this church was the only one in the city.
• The Great BrickSynagogue in Busk, a town in the Ukrainian Lviv oblast, was built in 1842-1843 and is still standing today.
• Count Badenyi's Palace is a historic building located in the city of Busk, Lviv Oblast. It was built in the seventeenth century. The palace consists of the main building and wings that cover the courtyard. The facade of the palace is decorated with various elements such as columns, pilasters, carved masks, etc. The palace also has wonderful examples of Rococo wall and ceiling paintings.
• TheChurch of St. Onufriy is a wooden religious building located in the historic suburb of Voliany in the northwestern part of the small ancient town of Busk, surrounded by high ramparts. A casual traveler will not notice the one-story church from the road. The temple is included in the register of architectural monuments of national importance under the protection number 1342/1. The current church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate.
