Chortky (also Chortka) is a ridge in the Gorgany Mountains (Ukrainian Carpathians), within the Nadvirna and Bohorodchany districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

It stretches from northwest to southeast, from the village of Zelena to the village of Stara Huta. It lies on the interfluve of the Bystrytsia Nadvirna and Bystrytsia Solotvynska rivers.

Its length is about 11.5 km. The height is up to 1240 m (Gorgan mountain). The ridge is composed of gray coarse-layered sandstones. It is covered with stone placers and scree. Spruce forests grow at the foot of the ridge, and mountain pine (zherepa) forests grow higher up. The ridge is a tourist attraction, although in some places it is difficult to cross the ridge. The ridge is marked with stones. The usual markings are almost invisible.

The easiest way to climb theridge is from under the Maniavskyi or Bukhtivetskyi waterfalls. The top of the ridge is narrow and littered with stones - gorgans.

The highest peaks are mt. Ripna (1212 m), Chortka (1229 m), Gorgan (1240 m), Shyvorys (1076 m).
The nearest settlements are: Bukove, Manyava to the north and Maksymets to the south.
Mount Chortky is the highest mountain (1224 m). Nearby is Valova Mountain (+1257 m). The terrain is not rocky like on all the high Gorgan mountains. There are many forests and meadows with views of Syvula from Igrovets, Dovbushanka, Vedmezhyk, Yayko-Ilemske and Moloda On the other side of this mountain is one of the largest waterfalls in Ukraine - Manyavsky.
