It is situated in the city of Boryslav, a short distance from popular resorts such as Truskavets (7 km) and Skhidnytsia (17.5 km). The first mentions of winter sports on the slopes of the resort date back to the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the official opening of the ski resort "Bukovitsa" took place on January 5, 2016. Shortly thereafter, a chairlift was constructed in addition to the drag lifts.
The highest point of the ski resort is the slope of Bukovitsa Mountain, with an elevation of 564 meters above sea level (the height of the mountain itself is 625 m). The resort is located in the Tustanovichi area of Boryslav in the Lviv region.
