Mount Velyka Mehla (also known as Velykyi Mehlyn) is one of the highest peaks in Transcarpathia, located in western Ukraine in the Svydovets Mountains. It has an altitude of 1305 meters above sea level and is a popular destination for tourists who enjoy outdoor activities and hiking.

Velyka Mehla consists of granite rocks and has steep slopes with several eastern and western ridges. At the top of the mountain there is a meteorological station and a small stone gazebo offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, valleys and rivers.

Although it is possible to climb to the top on foot, you need to have sufficient experience and training, as the route is quite difficult. Nevertheless, during the walk you can enjoy the beauty of the Carpathian nature, meet animals and rare birds.

The foot of the Velyka Mehla mountain is surrounded by dense forests, where you can find a variety of flora and fauna. There are several tourist villages in the area where you can find accommodation and restaurants with local dishes. In addition, there are mineral water springs at the foot of the mountain, which are considered to be healing.

All in all, Velyka Mehla is a great place to visit for those who love mountain hiking and want to enjoy the beauty of the Carpathian nature.
