Next to Vysokyi Verkh on the slope of Zvorets Mountain is the famous Zakhar Berkut ski resort. The ski complex itself is located at an altitude of 670 meters above sea level. To the west of Vysokyi Verkh is Mount Plishka, and behind it in the valley of the Slavska and Yalynkuvata rivers is the village of Volosyanka. Also in the north of Vysokyi Verkh mountain there is a spring called "Pysana Krynytsia", which is very popular among tourists in summer.

In summer, you can pick blueberries and raspberries on the slopes. In summer, the mountain also offers horseback riding and quad biking. During the winter and summer seasons, you can buy Carpathian tea, hot wine, and various folk art souvenirs. But it is most crowded in winter, when the ski season begins. The slopes themselves are suitable for both beginners and professional skiers. The upper part of the mountain slope has a gentle snow field, which in the middle part turns into a forest. The bottom of the mountain is the most hilly and quite steep. The width of the ski slope is 50-100 meters, of medium and higher difficulty.

There are a total of eight slopes on the slopes, which are accessible by snowmobile. There is a 2800-meter-long double chairlift and two rope tows to Vysokyi Verkh from the Zakhar Berkut ski resort. The upper tow is 750 meters long and has a height difference of 169 meters. The lower tow is 700 meters long and has a height difference of 186 meters. The upper rope tower can be reached by a GAZ or UAZ vehicle. The capacity of the tows and the cable car is 900 people per hour. There is a ski equipment rental, instructor services and a rescue service.

To get to the Zakhar Berkut ski resort, you first need to get to the village of Slavske, and from there to the village of Volosianka (6 kilometers from Slavske) and the resort itself. You can get there by train and then by shuttle bus or regular taxi to Volosyanka. It is also possible to walk from the railway station in Slavske (to the church, then along Ustianovycha Street, which turns into the village of Volosianka), which will take about an hour.
