Military Homestead "Grün Hof" for 18 persons + 5 additional - 9 rooms is located in the village of Huklyvyi, in the north of Transcarpathia, in the very heart of the Borzhavskyi Ridge in the village of Huklyvyi, Volovets district. Once, 12 km from the homestead, there was an old Hungarian-Polish border.

During World War II, to defend against a possible attack by the Soviet army, the Hungarians built a grand defense system known as the "Arpad Line". Its length was estimated to be between 600 to 700 km, with a depth of about 70 km. The system included 4 defensive lines stretching from the modern Polish to the modern Romanian border. Our homestead is built on the remnants of a bunker from the Arpad Line, whose task was, in the event of a breakthrough by Soviet troops through the Beskid Pass, to blow up the railway bridge-viaduct of the Mukacheve – Lavochne section. Fortunately, the soldiers did not have to carry out this mission, and the bridge remained intact; it is now part of the main railway line in the southwestern direction.

We have partially restored the bunker and equipped it with a lobby bar and a library. Each of the 10 rooms in the homestead tells the story of one of the 6 Transcarpathian and 4 European defensive lines, and the walls reveal pages of Hungarian and Czech history in Transcarpathia. The homestead specializes in both a specific segment of "military tourism" and active recreation in general. The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a wardrobe, complete with towels and bed linen.

Our region is rich in landmarks and interesting places, and thanks to the favorable location of the homestead, trips to them can easily be made within a day. We have extensive experience in organizing hiking trips in the mountains for both beginners and experienced travelers, and we have experience in organizing quests in nature (especially popular for corporate events). But if a guest wants to fish, play paintball, paraglide, raft down a mountain river, ride a bike, ski, or snowboard depending on the season, or ride in the mountains on an ATV or a Hutsul horse (Carpathian breed), we will recommend suitable organizers of these activities with whom we collaborate fruitfully. We will also assist those who want to learn how to ski or improve their skills in this area.

The homestead has a restaurant where you can get acquainted with the multinational cuisine of Transcarpathia, and guests also enjoy our sauna. Guests have access to a restaurant serving Czech and Hungarian dishes, a sauna, free library and video library, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Among other amenities of the homestead are a bar, a 24-hour front desk, a game room, luggage storage, a terrace, and meeting or banquet facilities.

The Volovets railway station is located 5 km away, and Uzhhorod International Airport is 105 km away. Several ski slopes are located 20 km from the homestead.
