Lekechi
The small village of Lekechi in the Vyzhnytsia district belongs to the Dolishnioshepit village council of the Chernivtsi region. It is located on the banks of the Siret River. The population of the village exceeds 250 people. The distance to the city of Chernivtsi is 80 km. Near the village, the Lekechi and Velyka Chornivka rivers flow into the Seret River.
Not far from the village there is a geological natural monument "Lekechenski rocks", which is a system of rocky outcrops of different heights with numerous interesting speleocastral formations. Climbing competitions are popular here. It is also worth visiting the cascade of waterfalls with height differences from 3 to 6 meters in the Mala Vyzhenka riverbed. The Luzhky spring, which is unique in its properties, also flows in this area. Its water has a rare sulfate-aluminum-iron composition with the presence of nickel, cobalt, manganese and other trace elements.
There is the Holy Prokopivsky Convent (UOC-KP). Traditional folk crafts: souvenirs.
