Dragobrat is a small intermountain valley and the highest ski resort in the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is located in the Svydovets massif. It is popular among fans of alpine skiing and snowboarding. The valley is located at an altitude of 1300-1400 m above sea level, 18 km from the village of Yasinya, at the junction of coniferous forests and the alpine zone, at the foot of Mount Stig (1704 m). Nearby are the peaks of the First Gendarme (1763 m), the Second Gendarme (about 1800 m) and the Bliznytsia (1883 m).
The horseshoe-shaped arrangement of the mountains in this part of the Svydovets massif creates unique natural conditions and ensures a stable snow cover from November to May.
The slopes of the valley offer magnificent views of the highest massif of the Ukrainian Carpathians - Chornohora, and the peaks are visible: Hoverla (2061 m) and Petros (2020 m). On the other side (to the north), the highest ranges of the Gorgan Mountains are visible - Dovbushanka (1754 m), Synyak (1662 m) and others.
The only settlement through which there are routes to the foot of Stih is the village of Yasinia (Zakarpattia region, Rakhiv district).
The trails there are prepared with snow-compacting equipment. Unlimited opportunities for skiing and snowboarding on virgin snow.
