Mizunski waterfalls are a great place for lovers of mountain recreation. Steep slopes and rapids on the Mizunka River create an incredibly spectacular cascade of waterfalls. The river originates from the springs of the Gorgany mountain range.

The river is fed by snow or rain, and therefore the Mizunski waterfalls look most spectacular either in spring, when the ice melts, or in rainy autumn.

The Mizun waterfalls near Novyi Mizun are three cascades three meters high. All the waterfalls are completely different: narrow, wide, gentle, steep, large or even miniature. In late December and early January, the river freezes, so it is unlikely to enjoy the beauty of this natural wonder during this period.

You can get a good view of the Mizun waterfalls from the window of the Carpathian tram. Its route runs along the Mizunka River. It is especially pleasant to relax here in the summer, when the river is cool and you can hide from the hot sun in the shade. In the Dolyna district, it is also worth seeing the Shyrkovets swamp, located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level.

The Mizun Waterfalls are located to the west of the village of Novyi Mizun in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
