The museum at the Kropyvnytskyi secondary school named after M. F. Tymochko was opened in 2000.

Its purpose is to involve students in the study and preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Kropyvnyk village, to foster patriotism, love for the native land, and respect for the people who created the history of the village and for those who enrich it today with their work and deeds.

The museum room is divided into 7 exhibition sections: "The village beyond the horizon of centuries"; "The village under the rule of Austria and Poland"; "The village gave birth to talents"; "Academician from Prykarpattia: To the top of science. Creative work of the scientist. The world of his hobbies"; "The village in the post-war period"; "Teacher and fighter (section dedicated to the fighter for the freedom of Ukraine Dmytro Kvets)"; "The village today".

The main directions of the museum are: educational work; mass work on local history and tourism; search and research activities; ethnographic work.
