Myhove
Myhove is a village in Ukraine, in the Chernivtsi region, Vyzhnytsia district. The village of Myhove is located 63 kilometers from the regional center and 26 km from the district center, 6 km from the Berehomet railway station. The name of the village comes from the name of the river Myhivka (the right tributary of the river Siretu), on both sides of which it is located. Originally, Myhove was part of the village of Lukivtsi, from which it separated in 1776. Old people call the village "Nihovo".
The first mention of the village dates back to 1775, at that time Bukovyna was part of the Moldavian principality, but after the end of the Russian-Turkish war Bukovyna became part of the Habsburg Empire. In 1918, after the collapse of the empire, the territory of Bukovyna, along with the village of Myhove, was occupied by Romanian troops. In 1940, Bukovyna became part of the Ukrainian SSR. The village gained popularity with the appearance and active development of the ski resort of Myhove. Today, the resort is developing at a new pace. It is planned to open new slopes and lifts, as well as develop the infrastructure of hotels and private accommodation.
Migovo is a Ukrainian ski resort in the Chernivtsi region near the village of Migovo. It is located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. Due to its favorable location and natural conditions, snow falls early and in large quantities and lasts from December to March. All ski resorts in Ukraine have their own specialty. Migovo is a very well planned resort. Its specialty is its compact location, which allows you to quickly travel between hotels, ski lifts, and restaurants.
There are many options for slopes in Migovo, lots of snow, which is complemented by the picturesque Bukovinian nature. The main feature of the resort is the conversion caterpillar transporters. They will take you to any picturesque place where no car can go. Each peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians will be especially close to you.
The total length of the tracks in Migovo is more than 3300 meters. There are two slopes on the slope of the Mala Kichera mountain. There is a fenced off trail for beginners and a separate trail for snowboarders - 150 meters. There are also certified slopes and slalom tracks used for national and international competitions.
Migovo is a very young but already popular resort. Imagine the foot of the picturesque peaks of the Bukovinian Carpathians, Kichera and Stizhok, not far from the Solonets tract. The latter has long been known for its healing mineral water springs. Due to this location and natural conditions, snow falls early and in large quantities and lasts from December to March.

At the resort, the Kashtan ski school employs qualified and certified instructors who will help you learn or improve your skiing and snowboarding skills for adults and children. In addition, there are rental points for ski equipment, sledges and snowtubes. There are 5 slopes with a total length of 3300 meters, one of which is designed for snow tubing. The slopes are groomed with snow groomers. There are snow cannons in operation. It is possible to ski in the evening from 18:30 to 21:30. Lifts: 2 rope tows with a length of 1100 m and 600 m; 2 multi-lifts with a length of 150 m. There is a special ice rink that can accommodate 100 people at a time.
The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, saunas, a massage room, billiards, a pneumatic shooting gallery, and a disco. In summer, the volleyball court, rope park and climbing wall, mountain biking and ATV rides are very popular, and the ice rink turns into a roller park in summer. There is a playground for the youngest tourists.
