Gurkalo Ilemske waterfall
Gurkalo Ilemske is a waterfall in the Ukrainian Carpathians (Gorgany massif). It is located within the Rozhniativ district of Ivano-Frankivsk region, 7 km southwest of the village of Ilemnia.
The height of the waterfall is 1.5 meters. The waterfall was formed on the Ilemka River (a tributary of the Chechva), in the place where the riverbed crosses an erosion-resistant rock formation.
Not far from the waterfall flows the Pogorechka stream, the left tributary of the Ilemka.
The fastest way to get to the waterfall from Ivano-Frankivsk is by bus with a stop in Dolyna. The trip will take more than two hours.
