Obolon is a village in the Dolyna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Obolon is the center of the village council, located 2 km from the district center and 4 km from the Dolyna railway station. The Lviv-Ivano-Frankivsk highway passes through the village. The population is 2338 people. The village of Mala Turya is subordinated to the village council.
People's artist O. Hrytsii was born and worked in Obolon.
Not far from the village there is a botanical natural monument - "Vysoka Hora". It is an object of the nature reserve fund of Ivano-Frankivsk region. The area is 2 hectares. The status was granted according to the decision of the regional council of 15.07.1993. It is under the jurisdiction of the Obolon Village Council.
The status was granted to preserve the habitats of rare plants for the region: European swimsuit, Lobelia lobelia, hazel grouse, white cinquefoil.
