Košice-okolie District is an administrative district in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia. It surrounds the city of Košice, which serves as the district seat, although the city itself is not part of the district. Historically, the area belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary, later becoming part of Czechoslovakia and then Slovakia. The district includes 114 municipalities, among them the towns of Medzev and Moldava nad Bodvou.

The district's landscape features the Abov, Bodva, Medzev, Podslan, and Torysa hills, as well as the Horný Vrch, Dolný Vrch, and Jasovská Polonina uplands. Košice-okolie borders the Prešov Region, the districts of Trebišov, Rožňava, Gelnica, and Hungary. The region is known for its scenic hills, uplands, and reservoirs.

On karpaty.rocks, the district's most featured places are Vyšný Klátov, Košická Belá, Skároš, Haj, Turňa nad Bodvou, Štós, Kostolany nad Hornádom, Baška, Jasov, Malá Lodina, Hačava, and Poproč. Popular trails include Košice, Čermeľ – Veľká Lodina, Malá Lodina – Sedlice, and Turňa nad Bodvou – Jasov. Notable sights are the Haj Waterfalls in the Slovak Karst, the Ružín Reservoir on the Hornád, and the Veľký Milič peak. Visitors can also find the Jagodná and Lajoška huts, the Štós spa, and craft workshops.
