Mineral spring, Shevchenkove

Near the village of Shevchenkove is the P-21 highway, leading from Mizhhiria to Dolyna. The Shandra tract stretches above the road. Near the highway, you can hear the roar of a mountain river, the rapidly flowing waters that do not warm up even in hot weather.

Near the road, there is a spring with a pungent odor - this is mineral water rich in hydrogen sulfide. It treats many diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. There are very few such springs in Ukraine, and they are most often found at the foot of high mountains. Hydrogen sulfide springs are divided into three groups: saturated with bicarbonate, chlorine or sulfate. The latter also contain calcium.

There is a place for picnicking and relaxing near the spring. If you want to continue your journey, you should go down to the tract and enjoy the beautiful scenery; depending on the season, you can pick mushrooms or berries here.
