The Carpathians never cease to amaze both beginners who first plunged into the magical world of these mountains and experienced tourists, because almost every famous place here is covered with ancient legends. The famous Polyana Lyubov, located in the picturesque town of Yaremche, is no exception, and we recommend that you visit it.

TheLove Glade is a heart-shaped lawn that can be seen from the road in Mykulychyn. There is a beach and a healing spring of mineral water saturated with hydrogen sulfide. It is especially useful for patients with ulcers, gastritis, colitis and other diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. The water has a specific smell, of course, and the locals even nicknamed the spring "dry eggs," but it is truly healing.

Interestingly, there is also a hotel with the same name, Polyana Lyubov, nearby, which offers a magnificent view.

The glade is named so not because of its heart-shaped shape, as some people think. According to an ancient Hutsul legend, which is so reminiscent of the lyrics of the famous song about the Hutsul girl Ksenia, a beautiful girl lived in these parts. She fell madly in love with a guy and gave herself to him, but he betrayed her and married another woman.

The girl's heart could not bear such pain, and she threw herself from a cliff on the bank of the Prut River in this very place and fell to her death. Hence the name of this picturesque meadow, so that everyone remembers the sad story of the unrequited love of a beautiful Hutsul woman.

This natural monument is located in the city of Yaremche, near Petrash Street. You need to climb up to the rock on the bank of the Prut River, about a kilometer upstream from the Probiy waterfall. A wonderful walk along the mountain river will appeal to both romantic couples and families with kids, because the road is not difficult. You will listen to the roar of the waterfall, admire the raging streams of water making its way through the rocks, and eventually come to a picturesque clearing surrounded by trees, where it is so nice to relax, listening to the sounds of nature and admiring the pristine scenery.

If you are vacationing in the village of Tatariv, you can take a hike to the Glade of Love, which is marked with green. The 2.5-hour route starts from the center of Tatariv through the Glade of Love and ends in the village of Kremintsi.
