Before sitting at the table, the whole family must have a good quarrel so that their faces do not show any hint of happiness, joy, or festivity in the first half hour of sitting (and it's best if you start arguing the night before - from the moment you pour the aspic into the bowl, dish, plate, little bucket, sorting it into more fatty and lean...) If you don't argue before Christmas, you can consider the holidays unsuccessful - it means someone in the family is hiding something, or God forbid, didn't keep an eye on the preparation of the dishes, or didn't notice someone nibbling on the festive products...
Another thing that must happen is 12 dishes. Although twelve rarely comes out, more often three or forty-five, but it must also be there. And the more dishes, the better the holiday is considered. And it doesn't matter that the whole family has to work in the kitchen for several days - without dishes, there is no quarrel, no Christmas, and no family. So everyone rush to the kitchen to roll the lean cabbage rolls because Christmas is around the corner, and the horse hasn't rolled yet!
