Among the participants of the exhibition "Chech" are Yuriy Bakay, Yuriy Borynets, Oleg Voronko, Yurko Izdryk, Marianna Hlynska, Serhiy Hryhoryan, Mykola Dzhychka, Myroslav Korol, Rostyslav Koterlin, Volodymyr Mulyk, Serhiy Petlyuk, Ihor Pereklita, Yevhen Samborskyi, Vadym Kharabaruk, Oleksa Furdiak, Yaroslav Yanovsky, Myroslav Yaremak, and the VJ group Cube, as well as the photography duo Synchrodogs, which includes Tanya Shchehlova and Roman Noven.

Guests and participants of the exhibition were welcomed by the bishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Borys Gudziak, who noted that the Greek Catholic Church has always supported contemporary art. "Andrey Sheptytsky provided scholarships to many artists from different lands of Ukraine. Today's event focuses on meeting. We meet with God and with each other. Art is a universal language that allows us to overcome barriers between people that often stand in the way of our communication and understanding. Art lifts us up, encourages us to discover mysteries and see the world from a different perspective, to shed a tear, to open our hearts. Therefore, we welcome this initiative and thank our hosts for allowing us to be participants and co-participants in such an event. I want to congratulate all the artists on the opening of the exhibition," the bishop noted in his welcoming speech.

"Versii" spoke with the founder of ZenkoFoundation, Zenko Aftanaziv.

"For some reason, everyone was convinced that contemporary art only lives in the capital. I approach this issue a bit differently and believe that at the regional level there is a sufficiently large and powerful group of talented artists whom we, unfortunately, do not know and do not see. Therefore, I had the idea to organize an art space ZenkoFoundation in our hotel and tourist complex "Koruna". We established a foundation that focuses on two areas. This project represents Zenko Gallery, which deals with local projects. The foundation itself engages in cultural diplomacy; we are preparing projects for 2018 at the Ludwig Museum that will showcase contemporary Ukrainian artists. We are starting such a launch so that every year contemporary Ukrainian art is presented in various European locations. We will also be involved in work in Ivano-Frankivsk, developing contemporary art in the regional center," Mr. Zenko shared his plans.

After the opening of the exhibition, the curator of the project "Chech (Flow). Individual Articulations," the head of the Independent Center for Contemporary Art, Anatoliy Zvyzhynskyi, conducted a tour of the exhibition for visitors, briefly telling about each of the participants. Visitors also had the opportunity to communicate directly with the artists.

The exhibition will last until April 1, 2017.
