Museum of Hutsul Folk Art in Yavoriv
The Museum of Folk Art of Hutsulshchyna was established in the village of Yavoriv on 09.10.1961 and transferred to the Yavoriv Secondary School in 2004.
The museum is located on the third floor of the school. It is one room of 36 square meters. The total number of exhibits is 255 of the main fund. The exhibits are interesting: things made of wood, carved caskets, ceramics, home-made products - lizhnyks. The Yavoriv lizhnyk is one of the most popular types of interior weaving, which performs both practical and decorative functions.
The museum periodically organizes an exhibition of students' woodwork, and conducts research.
Weekend: Saturday - Sunday
Opening hours: from 9:00 to 15:00.
Lunch: from 13:00 to 14:00.
