Polonyna Radul
The Radul meadow is located within the Marmarosh Massif. It is located almost at the border with Romania.Shepherds keep sheep and cows in themeadow. In summer, a cheese dairy works here. The Radul meadow is a unique authentic corner of wildlife in the Carpathians, where ancient customs and culture have been preserved. One of the most popular hiking routes, the Marmarosh Ridge route, or as it is sometimes called "From Pop to Pop", passes through the meadow. Next to the meadow, right on the Romanian border, is the famous Stig peak.
The Radul meadow is known for its clean air, beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and rich flora. On the meadow, you can find various types of herbaceous and shrubby plants, such as daisies, heather, blueberries, and others. It is not easy to get here, as the meadow is located far from roads and villages. The nearest settlements are the village of Luhy and the village of Shybene.
