Myroslav Irchan Literary Museum, Pyadyky

The Myroslav Irchan Literary Museum in Pyadyki is named after the prominent Ukrainian publicist, playwright, historian, and novelist. The locals deeply honor the memory of the poet, and his work and life are carefully preserved within the walls of the institution.

The museum was established in 1962 in a separate building on the street of the same name. Over the years, valuable exhibits of the region have been collected here. It has 114 original exhibits. The museum consists of three rooms. Among the museum's exhibits, special attention should be paid to the literary publications "Rebel" and "The Price of Blood," authored and translated by Myroslav Irchan himself, and photographs that reflect the life of Myroslav Irchan.

By 2010, the building had lost its beautiful appearance and today is in poor technical condition: damp walls, cracks in the ceiling. It needs additional improvement.

The museum is included in the list of facilities accessible to people with special needs.

The facility consists of three rooms. There are many interesting exhibits, among which a special place is occupied by the writer's belongings. 114 original memorabilia tell the story of the life of the Ukrainian poet Myroslav Irchan:

• literary publications "The Price of Blood" and "Rebel" created by M. Irchan;
• original photographs;
• personal belongings of the historian.

The museum was built next to the hut where the famous poet was born and raised.

The Myroslav Irchan Literary Museum is located on the street of the same name in the village of Pyadyky. Due to the lack of signage, the museum is somewhat difficult to reach, but polite locals will always show you the way.

The village of Pyadyky is located 6 km from the city of Kolomyia. The most convenient way to get there is by your own transport. If you go by bus: from Kolomyia, go to the village of Lanchyn, and from there take a minibus to Pyadyky.
