Dovha is a mountain in the Gorgany massif(Ukrainian Carpathians). It is located in the southern part of the Nadvirna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region, northwest of the village of Polianytsi, not far from the Bukovel ski resort. The height is 1371.3 m (according to other sources - 1370.8 m). The northern and southern slopes are steep, the northwestern slope is gentle. The top of Dovha is partially unforested; there are stone scree. The northwestern slope turns into a gentle ridge that stretches northwest to Mount Ploska (1352.6 m). To the north of the peak is the Stoli hiking pass (1130 m). To the southwest of the mountain, the Markovets Stream, the left tributary of the Black Tisza, originates.
"Every day a new and unique view opens up from the top of Dovha Mountain. Sometimes it's sunny and all the mountain peaks are visible, sometimes the fog covers the mountains, leaving only the tops. This mountain is the highest point of Bukovel, its height is 1371 meters. If you go northwest from here, you can reach Mount Ploska, and if you go north, you will come across the Stoly hiking pass. In spring, you can see snowdrops here," Nadia Blazhkun writes on her blog.
