In 2013 the wooden tserkvas of the Carpathian region in Poland and Ukraine were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Ukrainian ones are in Nyzhnii Verbizh near Kolomyia, Uzhok, Yasinia (the Strukivska church), Matkiv, Drohobych (St George’s church), Zhovkva, Potelych and Rohatyn.
