Monument to Stepan Bandera
The monument is a cross on a slope, an interesting pedestal of Bandera, one of the most architecturally patriotic sculptures in Ivano-Frankivsk. The monument to Stepan Bandera was approved after seven competitions in 2002. The winners were sculptor Mykola Posikira and architect Mykhailo Fedyk. Construction began in late 2003. The official opening took place on October 13, 2007.
