Church of St. Nicholas, Chynadiyovo
The village of Chynadiyevo, where the Church of St. Nicholas is located, is known in Ukraine primarily for its medieval castle, St. Miklos. This castle was built in the middle of the 15th century by the Hungarian baron Imre Pereni. The church is located 300 meters from the castle and is connected to it by an underground tunnel. Currently, the underground passage between the buildings is closed.
In the Soviet era, the church building housed a museum. After the collapse of the USSR, the church was transferred to the Orthodox religious community, which recently restored it. The Church of St. Nicholas has its own website, where you can find the schedule of services and ask questions to the priest.
