The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary belongs to the type of churches with a one-nave basilica. Its laconic facades are reinforced by buttresses. The main façade pediment is made in a typical Baroque style. In 1801, a new church was consecrated on the site of the ancient Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Later, the icon of the Mother of God from the old church was moved to it. The Armenian church today reminds us of the time of the late 16th century, when the Armenian community was born in the city. The Armenians were granted the right to build their own church on the estate of their magistrate. Their activities were aimed at enriching the market with goods that were interesting and useful for Ukrainian women, in particular, unique boots made of saplain, which were made by Armenian craftsmen.
