The chapel in the town of Sniatyn is one of the local landmarks that have survived from the nineteenth century in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is not known for certain who was the author of the project and the architect, but it is immediately noticeable that the building was once very attractive, although it does not have excesses in decor and decoration.

Little is known about the chapel. All historians can say is that it was built in honor of the Felician Sisters. The congregation of sisters was most widespread in Poland because it was founded in Warsaw. The Felician Sisters also served in a number of other countries, including Ukraine. The nuns of this congregation took a vow of poverty, chastity, and obedience, and devoted their entire lives to serving Christ. Because the Felician nuns did not have large churches in Ukraine, they could pray in small chapels like this one. During the Soviet era, the chapel was used as a concert hall, and extensions were added to it. Later, the building became a music school. Today it is occupied by a social service center for young people. Tourists can only admire the architecture of the facade from the side, which has survived to this day.
