Pidgurkalo waterfall
The forests and mountains of the district belong to the Central Gorgan Mountains, which are currently the least developed mountainous areas of the Ukrainian Carpathians. There are also interesting tourist sites that are little known to the general public: Pidhurkalo Waterfall (Ripne village).
Pidhurkalo is a waterfall in the Ukrainian Carpathians, in the northwestern part of the Gorgany mountain range. It is located southwest of the village of Ripne.
It was formed on a small low-water stream Ripne (Duba River basin), in the place where the stream crosses a cliff of a fleche type. The water falls almost straight down from a height of about 5 meters. In the dry season, the stream almost dries up.
