Church of the Intercession
In 1756, Princess Maria Hickey and the local community built the first wooden church in the village of Dnistrovka, which burned down in 1883. A new wooden church on a stone foundation was rebuilt the following year in a typical Moscow style and lit as the Intercession Church. At the same time, a parochial school for peasants was built at the church. The domeless Church of the Intercession, along with its tall three-tiered bell tower, can still be seen today southwest of the village center.
