1. There is no direct public transport to Hoverla. First, you need to get to Vorokhta by the Rakhiv train or even better by the Verkhovyna bus from Ivano-Frankivsk to the turn at the 10th kilometer and the checkpoint to Hoverla. If you leave the regional center at 6:00 AM by this bus to the junction and order a taxi from Vorokhta to Zaroslyak, which will already be waiting there, you have a chance to climb Hoverla and return to your taxi, which will take you back to the bus to Ivano-Frankivsk.
2. It is better, of course, to arrive by bus to the turn and walk to the Tenth Kilometer (Hoverla checkpoint), and there spend the night in a tent or choose one of the accommodations in this overview to set off early in the morning to Zaroslyak, and from there to Hoverla.
3. You can easily reach the "Zaroslyak" recreation base by the end of the day and spend the night there to set off for Hoverla in the morning and see the incredible views around.
4. Or at any time, you can get to the resort Vorokhta from Ivano-Frankivsk, settle in a local hotel or cottage, and in the morning order a taxi to Zaroslyak.
5. If you have your own car, you can easily get to Zaroslyak at any time, and on holidays it is better to arrive by 7:00 AM.
At the foot of Hoverla is the "Zaroslyak" recreation base with 100 places, which also specializes in treating upper respiratory diseases.
