Museum-estate of Mykola Uhryn-Bezsrichnyi, Rohatyn

The Museum-Estate of Mykola Uhryn-Bezgryshnyi is a part of the Rohatyn Museum Complex, a branch of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Art Museum. The museum's exposition primarily tells the story of the life and work of the prominent Ukrainian poet, prose writer, playwright, publisher, and teacher Mykola Uhryn-Bezgryshnyi.

It has been operating since 2004 in the premises of the restored estate of Mykola Uhryn. The entire museum exposition consists of 4 sections: "Mykola Uhryn-Bezgryshnyi (1883-1960) and Rohatyn artists of the first half of the twentieth century"; "Folk art, ethnography and life of Rohatyn district"; "Art of the East. The Figure of Roksolana in the World and National Context"; "Exhibition Hall". The museum's collection was assembled thanks to the participation of local residents who shared their preserved antiques from the period of the Second World War.

Exhibition hall No. 1. The key place belongs to the figure of Mykola Uhryn. Separate exhibition cases are dedicated to his participants. The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, documents and photographs from the artists' lives, cover sketches, exhibition brochures, etc.

Exhibition hall 2. Dishes, clothes, household items made of wood, stone, and ceramics that were in wide use in the time of M. Uhryn are presented. The exposition includes small sculptures, boxes and chiseled vases made of alabaster, which were very popular at the time, as well as straw products.

Exhibition hall 3. There are several stands dedicated to Roksolana, along with reproductions of portraits of the famous countrywoman and a model of medieval Rohatyn. Works of sacred art are also presented.

Exhibition hall No. 4. This exhibition hall is used for exhibition activities.

Working days: Tuesday - Sunday, day off: Monday.

Opening hours: from 9:00 to 18:00.

Lunch: from 13:00 to 14:00.
